CPO organized Christmas party for children in Dutch Quarter
Showing the softer side of the Police Department a Christmas Party was organized by the Community Police Officer Inspector Arcella Leonard, for the less fortunate children living in the Dutch Quarter area. So many times these children are forgotten during this time of year. It is with that thought in mind that this event was organized on December 20th 2015.
Close to one hundred children attended this party which was held on the premises of Delight Restaurant owned by Mrs. Cheryl Maccow in Dutch Quarter. The party started at approximately 01.00 p.m. and ended just after 06.00 p.m. During the party the children received a surprised visit from Santa Claus who presented gifts to all the children present. The children played with each other and had lots of fun while they enjoyed the food and drinks that was offered to them.
