The Central Police Dispatch was informed about the situation and the description of the suspect was also given through to the other patrols heading to the scene. After an intense search of the area by the patrols a man fitting the exact description of the suspect was caught hiding in the bushes. He was arrested immediately on weapon charges and transported to the Philipsburg Police Station. The suspect with the initials M. Mc.D. from Jamaica was put into custody pending further investigation.
