L’Office de Tourisme de Saint-Martin fait son show au Grand Pavois et au CMITE !

La 38ème édition du salon TOP RESA se termine tout juste à Paris après une visite au stand du Ministre du Tourisme, Sylvia Pinel qui a inauguré le salon mardi 18 septembre et a été accueilli par le Président de la Collectivité de Saint-Martin et de l’Office de Tourisme. Jeudi 20 septembre, c’est le Ministre de l’Outre Mer, Victorin Lurel, que reçoit Jeanne Vanterpool, Conseillère territoriale, Déléguée aux Affaires Economiques et Vice-Présidente de l’Office de Tourisme. Pendant son entretien le Ministre indique à la Vice-Présidente qu’il compte se rendre très prochainement à Saint-Martin pour des séances de travail avec la Collectivité afin d’aborder tous les sujets qui permettront de redynamiser l’économie locale.

Dans le même temps, c’est au Grand Pavois de la Rochelle et au CMITE en Jamaïque que d’autres membres de l’équipe du tourisme se trouvent pour faire la promotion du nautisme et vanter les atouts de la destination auprès des agences organisant des voyages en groupe.

Le Grand Pavois est sans conteste le salon nautique de référence des passionnés. C’est donc naturellement que Saint-Martin y trouve sa place !

Emile Louisy, Responsable du Marché Canadien et du Nautisme accompagné d’Elsie Marishaw, Conseillère en séjour sont depuis le 19 et jusqu’au 24 septembre à ce salon nautique international à flots.

L’association Metimer avec Bulent Gulay s’y trouve également présente pour vanter les atouts de Saint-Martin. En effet, l’île qui est une escale idéale pour les passionnés de glisse et de sensations fortes est aussi le point de départ rêvé des amateurs de bateaux à voiles et à moteurs pour une croisière autour de l’île afin de découvrir nos 37 plages, l’Îlet Pinel ou Tintamarre mais aussi les îles environnantes d’Anguille, de St-Barth, Saba ou St-Kitts.

Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange, Montego Bay, Jamaïque

Du 20 au 23 septembre prochain se déroule en Jamaïque le Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (CMITE) qui réunit l’ensemble des acteurs du marché Incentive de la Caraïbe. CMITE qui se déroule uniquement sur invitation et sous forme de rendez-vous face to face entre les vendeurs et acheteurs.

Grégoire Dumel, Responsable du marché régional et Ricardo Bethel, Chargé de mission -Marché Incentive iront convaincre les agences organisatrices de voyages en groupes, de stimulation ou de récompense que Saint-Martin est bien le lieu idéal pour organiser congrès et séminaires. Saint-martin dispose toutes les infrastructures indispensables et permet de passer un séjour complet offrant le dépaysement, la détente avec la possibilité de réaliser des activités variées. Plusieurs entretiens sont déjà fixés entre l’équipe de l’Office et American Express, Global Events Luxury Travel, Strategic Incentive Solutions, Elite Travel & Events Inc entre autre…

The International French Travel Market TOP RESA closed its door today in Paris after the visit on the Saint-Martin booth of the French Minister of Tourism, Sylvia Pinel who inaugured the tradeshow on Tuesday September 18th and shaked hands with the President of the Collectivité de Saint-Martina nd the Tourism Office. Tuesday September 28th, it is the Minister of the French Overseas territories, Victorin Lurel, who honored the Island with his presence. During theis short visit, he indcated and promised to Jeanne Vanterpool, Territorial, counseller, in charge of Economic Affairs and Vice-President of the Frech saint-Martin Tourist office that he will soon come to Saint-Martin to meet with the Island Council and discuss opportunities to boost the island’s economy.

At the Grand Pavois in la Rochelle and at CMITE show in Jamaïca other team members of the French Saint-Martin Tourism Office are promoting yachting and cruising and selling the destination for Incentive groups.

The Grand Pavois is undoubtedly the reference for boat show fans. It is naturally that St. Martin finds its place!

Emile Louisy, in charge of Yachting and the Canadian market along with by Elsie Marishaw, stay Advisor are attending from September 19 to 24 this international in-water boat show.

The association Metimer with Bulent Gulay, member of the Tourist Office Board of Directors is also participating to praise the island’s assets for cruising and yachting. In fact, Saint-Martin is a unique destination for sailing and cruising to the 37 pristine water beaches, Pinel Island and Tintamarre but also to discover the surrounding islands of Anguilla, St. Barth, Saba and St Kitts.
