NOEL TRADITIONNEL A L’OFFICE DE TOURISME !
L’Office de Tourisme de Saint-Martin vous invite à partager la magie des fêtes de fin d’année lors d’un « noël traditionnel » !
Bercés par les chants d’antan des Jolly Boys et des Rythm Boys, vous serez tenté par les arômes irrésistibles des accras, du jambon de noël, des tartes au coco et du punch guavaberry (boisson traditionnelle), l’émerveillement sera au rendez-vous autour de deux arbres de noël. L’un d’entre eux sera un arbre traditionnel aux branches duquel autrefois on accrochait une boule où on inscrivait ses vœux le plus sincère pour la nouvelle année !
Parcourez l’exposition sur le noël traditionnel saint-martinois en découvrant comment les arbres de noël étaient réalisés à l’époque (espèce d’arbre, décorations, etc.). Vous pourrez voir les jouets qui étaient offerts aux enfants et confectionnés à la main par leurs parents, les instruments de musiques joués pendant les sérénades du soir au matin et bien d’autres histoires et anecdotes d’antan…
Pour le bonheur des petits et des grands, le Père Noel sera de la partie vêtu de ses habits rouges et blancs et il sera disponible pour une photo autour de l’arbre de noël traditionnel ou du sapin illuminé de ses guirlandes scintillantes.
Venez nombreux les vendredis 14 et 21 décembre à l’Office de Tourisme de Saint-Martin célébrer avec nous un noël original et gourmand entre 10h et 17h.

The Saint-Martin Tourist Office invites you to share the magic of the season around a traditional Christmas!
Cradled by the songs of the Jolly Boys and the Rhythm Boys, guided by the irresistible flavors of the accras, Christmas ham, coconut tarts and guavaberry punch, you will be surrounded by two amazing Christmas trees from the past and the present. Discover the way Saint-Martin use to celebrate Christmas and hang on the tree your Christmas ball where you write your wish for the year to come.
Learn more on Christmas in Saint-Martin by pacing up and down the exhibition discovering how traditional Christmas trees were made (type of tree, decorations, etc.), the type of gifts offered to children, the music instruments played during the serenades and back in the day stories and anecdotes…
Santa Claus will be part of the festivities! Children and even adults will have the opportunity to be photographed with Santa around the Christmas trees.
Don’t miss the “Traditional Saint-Martin Christmas” at the Saint-Martin Tourist Office on Fridays December 14th and 21st from 10am to 5pm.
