Sareena Carti qualifiée pour les Carifta Games !

Sareena Carti, la jeune athlète du club Avenir Sportif, s’est qualifiée dès le premier tour pour les Carifta Games 2013, sur sa distance fétiche le 400 mètres en 56’’. Les qualifications se sont déroulées ce samedi 16 février à Vieux Habitants.

Son compagnon d’entraînement, Robinson Mena de la Rosa qui s’est lui aussi lancé sur 400m, améliore son record personnel en réalisant 52’’39. Malheureusement, il n’atteint pas les minimas, et devra prendre à nouveau le départ du 400 mètres lors du deuxième tour des qualifications qui se tiendra le 2 mars 2013 à Baie-Mahault.

Lors de l’édition 2012 des Carifta Games, Sareena Carti avait déjà réalisé une belle performance et décroché le bronze sur 400 mètres. Cette année encore, elle vise la plus haute marche du podium !

Sareena Carti qualified for the Carifta Games!

Sareena Carti, the young athlete of Avenir Sportif Club, is qualified for the first round of the 2013 Carifta Games, on its distance 400 meters in 56”. Qualifications were held on Saturday, February 16th at Vieux Habitants Guadeloupe.

His training partner, Robinson Mena de la Rosa who was also on 400m, improved his personal record by performing 52” 39. Unfortunately, he didn’t reach the minima, and will take again the start of 400 meters in the second qualifying round to be held March 2nd, 2013 in Baie-Mahault Guadeloupe.

During the 2012 Carifta Games, Sareena Carti had a good performance and won the bronze medal over 400 meters. This year, she aims for the highest step of the podium!
