Robbery. Family robbed violently at gunpoint

Several police patrols, Detectives and paramedics were sent to a home on Canoe road to investigate a robbery in which persons were injured.

On the scene the investigating officers spoke to the couple and their teenage daughter living at that home who stated that shortly before four unknown men had forced their way into their home and violently robbed them at gunpoint. During the robbery the couple was struck with the butt of the gun to head.

As a result of which they were injured to their head. The robbers threatened to use their weapons if the couple did not hand over the money. The robbers succeeded in taking an amount of cash and a laptop computer. After committing this act the robbers fled the scene. The victims were treated by paramedics for their injuries they suffered.

The Detective Department are investigating this case.
