Sint Maarten. Rider dies in motorbike accident
On Friday November 8th at approximately 12.35 p.m. police patrols and paramedics were directed to the corner of Jaguar road and Cougar road in Cay Hill,to investigate a traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider who was not showing any signs of life.
On the scene the investigating officers encountered the body of the man with the initials G.B.M. (24) lying in the middle of the street.
The paramedics who arrived on the scene examined the victim but Dr. Douglas who arrived shortly on the scene stated that the victim had died as a result of the injuries he suffered.
According to witnesses, the victim had been riding quite recklessly with his motorcycle (MF-945) through the neighborhood earlier during the day and due to his irresponsible way of riding, lost control and hit into the right rear corner of a pick-up truck with license plate V-1180 that was parked on the side of the street.
During the impact then victim was thrown from the motorcycle and fell to the ground where he remained. The Police traffic Department is finalizing this investigation.
