Sint Maarten. Ministry VROMI announces side street road closures near GEBE and Cadastre Offices in Philipsburg starting Friday evening
Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), hereby announces that there will be a side street road closure starting, Friday, November 22 from 9.00pm to 6.00am at the junction by the GEBE Distribution Building and at the Cadastre Office.
No through traffic will be allowed in the two side streets at both aforementioned building locations; however there will be no disruption of traffic on the C.A. Cannegieter Street and Back Street.
The side street next to the GEBE Distribution Building in Philipsburg on the Pondfill is between the Walter J.A. Nisbeth Road (Pondfill Road) and C.A. Cannegieter Street which will be closed to traffic on the following dates: Friday, November 22; Sunday, November 24; Monday, November 25; Saturday, November 30; and Monday, December 2 at the aforementioned hourly timeframe.
The side street between the C.A. Cannegieter Street and Back Street next to the offices of the Cadastre in Philipsburg will be closed to traffic on the following dates: Friday, November 22; Sunday, November 24; Monday, November 25; Thursday, November 28; Saturday, November 30; and Monday, December 2 during the aforementioned hourly timeframe.
Motorists are requested to be vigilant and observant for the road closure and traffic directional signs indicating the areas where the civil infrastructure works are being carried out.
The road closure is related to the sewage line connection.
