Tourisme. A Anse Marcel, Bye Bye le Radisson, welcome RIU…
RIU will open its first hotel in St. Martin
RIU Hotels & Resorts has just purchased a luxurious hotel in the French part of the Caribbean island of St. Martin with a 45 million dollar investment. Riu Palace St. Martin will welcome its first guests in June of this year. The new RIU hotel has 252 rooms, an exceptional seafront location at an exclusive cove with wonderful white sand and turquoise waters.
Riu Palace St. Martin offers several restaurants, bars, swimming pools, sports and aquatic activities, a mini-club for the little ones, a complete spa and marina, as well as dream-like places to hold events and weddings.
St. Martin is an exclusive destination. Typical photographs of idyllic beaches that travellers the world over dream about were most likely taken on this tiny, paradisiacal island. With its famous beaches, climate and kind local people, St. Martin has become a highly popular international destination. Most Caribbean cruises make a stop here, and the island offers a range of high-quality restaurants, hotels and leisure activities. Additionally, the beauty and richness of its waters make it a paradise for snorkelling lovers.
With this hotel, RIU is increasing their presence in America, where they already have 37 hotels: Mexico (17), Dominican Republic (7), Jamaica (5), Cuba (2), Costa Rica (2), Panama (1), Aruba (1), Bahamas (1) and Miami, USA (1).
