Sint Maarten. Road closure on Backstreet starting Sunday night

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), hereby announces that there will be a temporary road closure on Backstreet between crossing School Steeg/H. Beaujon Steeg and Weduwen Steeg.

The temporary closure will be from Sunday April 27, 8:00 pm till Monday April 28, 5:00 am.  The closure is related to installation of a sewage connection at Backstreet that will take place at lot #111.

There will also be a temporary road closure of Backstreet between the crossings of Hotel Steeg/Korte Steeg and School Steeg/H. Beaujon Steeg from Monday April 28, 8:00 pm till Tuesday April 29, 5:00 am.  The closure is related to installation of sewage connection at Backstreet that will take place at lot #114.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to be vigilant and observant for the traffic directional signs indicating what works are underway in the respective area.
