Sint Maarten. Victim shot during armed robbery
Detectives are presently investigating an armed robbery that was reported to the Police Central Dispatch on Tuesday June 17th at approximately 04.40 p.m.
During this robbery the delivery employee was shot twice in the stomach shortly after he arrived at the company he works for called Kam’s Trading N.V located in the warehouse complex in Cole Bay. According to witnesses they saw at least three armed men who arrived at the establishment in a small silver colored vehicle. After committing this act they fled the scene in the same vehicle.
What exactly was stolen from the establishment is still unknown. The Forensic and Detective Department were on the scene to investigate the matter. The victim has been transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center where up to the time of this press release he was in surgery for the wounds he had sustained.
