Sint Maarten. La Police intensifie sa chasse aux voitures volées
POLICE LOCATES 3 MORE STOLEN VEHICLES AND STOLEN CAR PARTS
As the police continued their general controls on Wednesday July 16th giving fines for traffic violations and arresting suspects involved in any criminal activity.
Also three more stolen vehicles were found in Union Farm at the Emergency Houses a.k.a “911”. These vehicles are one Hyundai Elantra, one Hyundai Accent and one Nissan Murano.
The Vin-numbers on these vehicles were all tampered with.
Also a large amount car parts from different type vehicles were found hidden in these cars. All three vehicles and car parts were confiscated for further investigation.
In connection with this investigation a male suspect with initials F.E.P. was arrested at his home and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where he remains in custody for questioning.
The community has been very helpful in giving information that is essential to ongoing criminal investigations and the police department urges them to continue giving information.
