Nouveau meurtre à Sint Maarten lundi 27 octobre vers 20h

PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – One man is now dead as a result of a shooting on the water front road in Cole Bay.

Initial reports state that residents in a nearby apartment heard what sounded like a gun shot. It was later discovered that a man was laying on the ground along the road side motionless.

The police along with the forensic team arrived on the scene and are conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the victim and what led to the fatal shooting.

The shooting took place just after 8 Monday evening with nearby residents stating that they heard multiple shots fired, maybe up to six shots. Seemingly the victim also suffered a bullet strike to the head.

Police is also said to be looking into a strange car that was observed in the area at the time of the shooting.
