Sint Maarten : Man arrested for ill-treating his girlfriend

On Thursday January 1^st a 37 old French man was arrested by the St. Maarten Police Force because he ill-treated his girlfriend.

The patrol was called to Point Pirouette 204 for a domestic disturbance.

Seemed that the couple had an argument where the suspect lost control of his temper and began destroying items inside the home.

This situation spiraled out of control whereby he head butted his girlfriend.

The patrol placed him in custody and detectives are continuing with their investigation in this matter.
