Sint Marteen : Traffic Accident

On Thursday September 24th 2015 at approximately 11.25 p.m. a very serious traffic accident took place on the Welfare road in the vicinity of Puerto Del Sol.

The accident was between  TAXI 46 and a motorcycle with any license plate.

The Taxi which was driving on the Welfare road in the direction of Cole Bay made an abrupt left turn without giving the oncoming motorcycle the right of way causing the motorcycle to collide with the taxi.

The motorcycle rider suffered, fractures to his jaw, broken right arm, broken nose and a deep wound to his neck. The victim was treated on the scene by paramedic and then  transported to the Medical Center for further treatment.

The victim remains admitted for observation. The Police traffic department is investigating. this case.
