AT RUBY BUTE’S SILK COTTON GROVE A SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT THE END OF THIS YEAR!

«I chose to enclose the program of year 2010 in this end of year when the festive spirit is undeniable; I invited two painters in my gallery closed to the cotton tree: Lucia Triffan and Stephany Thianily. Throughout the year the shows are prepared in this pleasant area The Silk Cotton Grove on which there is my house, the gallery and also this big central kiosk which I set up to show all the entertainments there which I organize and where each guest can feel comfortable there and walk ' naked foot '. This very day, if I have the honour to count in my visits of the personalities such as the Governor of ST MAARTEN and the President of the community, there is nothing formal and everybody is in phase to open his soul to spend together a happy afternoon. I have moreover an excellent general feeling of the day as for the unity of the various persons present; we are one island and one people!
2011 should look full of merry promises on its program and I would begin very soon a funny and cultural show which I entitled:
THE GENTLEMEN AND THEIR COATS
It promises to be ' rock and funny '! It will be about a parade of attractive sirs wearing clothes looked for to illustrate famous characters of the general human history, of course these last ones will evolve in music …
Today is a beautiful and successful day; I am profoundly grateful and thank particularly two persons who contributed to its realization:
Myriam Jnofinn who took care of everything and all the visitors and whom I consider as one of my numerous spiritual daughters, and Lori Drouin Lemay which realized the set, in particular the one of the new building gazebo which was transformed into a comfortable lounge… " (Ruby Bute)
We indicate that the exhibition of the paintings of Ruby Bute, Lucia Triffan and Stephany Thiangly takes place until February 2011. Silk Cotton Grove's gallery is incontournable and so pleasant to visit in the heart of Friar’s Bay! We shall soon mean presenting the painters and their works, while waiting for us deeply invite you to become known with Ruby when you will visit the gallery to be regularly informed about various demonstrations which Ruby concocts by raising a big smile. We feel very well at Ruby's where mixes a panel of persons of any horizons and where we can appreciate a real bath of culture Saint-Martinoise.
