Antilles. Sport : Sareena Carti, élue Meilleure Jeune Sportive de l’année
Fr- Sareena Carti, du club Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin, a reçu ce samedi 18 janvier 2014 à la salle omnisport du Gosier, le Trophée du Sport Guadeloupéen dans la catégorie « Meilleure Jeune Sportive » en athlétisme de l’année 2013.
Sareena à l’honneur en Guadeloupe ce week endCette manifestation organisée par le CROSGUA (Comité Régional Olympique de la Guadeloupe) a pour objectif d’encourager les sportifs, qui suite à un vote, se voient remettre leurs trophées lors d’une soirée de gala. Sareena qui a fait le déplacement avec son entraîneur Patrick Trival, a côtoyé lors de cette soirée les meilleurs espoirs de médailles de la saison en cours du sport guadeloupéen.
L’après-midi, Sareena réalisait une belle performance en remportant le 300m cadettes du 2ème tour des intermédiaires en 38.88, et arrivait deuxième du 200m femmes en 24.71. Durant cette compétition qui se tenait au stade des Abymes, Sareena a réalisé les minima pour la qualification du 200m des Carifta Games, et termine à 2 dixièmes du record de la Guadeloupe sur le 300m.

En – Sareena Carti, of Avenir Sportif Club of Saint-Martin, received on Saturday, January 18th, 2014 in the omnisport room of Gosier (Guadeloupe), the Trophy of Guadelupean Sport in the category ” Better Young Sportswoman ” in athletics of year 2013.
This demonstration organized by the CROSGUA (Olympic Regional Committee of Guadeloupe) has for objective to encourage the sportsmen, who further to a vote, get their trophies during a gala evening. Sareena who made this trip with her trainer Patrick Trival, was next to the best hopes of medals of the season for Guadeloupe during this evening.
In the afternoon, Sareena realized a beautiful performance by taking away the 300m « cadettes » of the 2nd tour of the intermediaries in 38.88, and arrived second of the 200m women in 24.71. During this competition which was held at the stadium of Les Abymes, Sareena realized minima for the qualification of the 200m of Carifta Games, and ends in 2 tenth of the record of Guadeloupe on the 300m.
